It's a private gay/bisexual men's club/bath house. Where men met other men for sex. I'm sure if you put the name Watergarden and San Jose in a search engine you will get a lot more information on it.

in my garden pond what i did was (of coarse, take the fish and water out) and then put a big plastic bag( especially made for ponds, you can find it in a garden market or something)then i decorate it with rocks so that the plastic is not visible.

you will have to drain it first and then let it dry completely...cement it as if you were just putting it in...you should have lined it so it wouldn't leak though...so after you fix the leak, make sure to put a liner in it of some kind...my cousin used an unused farmer's chemical tank that a local store let her have and cut the top off...it made a great size pond for her small back yard...but you can get a liner made especially for ponds that will work...and NO more leaks...

Ponds and water gardens are a pain. I've had several ponds and several water gardens. Every year I threaten to fill them in a plant flowers. It seem's like all I do is clean them.
Last year two huge Blue Herons dropped in for dinner while I was at Wal-Mart, they ate 85 of my coi and goldfish. This year I didn't put any in.

Your going to have sand and algae, weeds, garbage floating in, wind blowing things in. You can't win.
All you can do is keep cleaning it. You'll get a bio system started that looks like heck but, that's mother nature, leave it. Try to go with the flow.

No, and no. leave it. There is virtually no maintenance in water gardens. I have 2, and have had them for 5 years. I only run a fountain for aeration. I have comets, plants and bullfrogs

The only way to naturally get rid of algae is to make sure that apx 70 percent of the surface area is shaded.I know that sounds ridiculous but every year after the pond thaws from winter ,I get Algae.Once the leaves come onto the trees and my water lettuce and water hyacinths are multiplying it gradually goes away.I dont use any chemicals or store bought filters for my pond.My husband built me a waterfall out of stone with a small basin in it.I have it full of water hyacinths to filter my pond naturally and it works well.

I have friends who have a water garden. They don't use any chemicals or filters. They have carefully chosen a select group of water plants that filter and clean the water naturally.

So's mine. I'm doing nothing. That kind of algae is caused by heat and sunlight. Patience makes it go away. You can try tinting the water blue. My personal opinion is that nothing is the best thing. No chemicals.

have never heard of using peroxide in a pond. if you are trying to rid your pond of algae this is what I have done after years of using chemicals and barley bundles. i have gotten a UV light system that the water passes through before entering the filter system, then the water returning to the pond.
